Sports & Teams the Evolution

Over the years we have seen so much change.  Not just in technology (yep, I use to shoot film.  That should tell you how long I've been in Photography and designing lol), but in needing local teams more like the professional sports we all look up to and that we view as our role models.  It gives kids goals; work hard and play harder.

Social Media Management and Booster Help, there needs to be an "Online Presence" for your team & with making sure your booster/PTA/PTO run smoothly.  Which means to keep up with algorithms, you need a constant flow of imagery/posts at the right times; this all begins with picture day.  You need multiple poses, different views, and of course in post-production lots of flyer and signage designs. There must be a presence at all times, or your team will fall off and no one sees anything you post, and you lose followers.

And this is where Elevated Sport Media Productions by Spoil U Photography comes to play (I mean to work) with your team, booster/PTA/PTO, schools & Coaches. When SUP comes in, we discuss everything from the typical schedule for the season, what poses you are hoping for, what ideas you have or want to do with your team, your incoming players in their rankings, fundraising you have set for the year, what fundraising you may need, what TEA/UIL rules need to be followed, what district rules need to be followed, and so much more.

Quite literally we have your back!

Yes, I may have other teams in your sport, but each team is spoiled in their own ways with our services.  Which means you may not need social media managing, while another does, you just may need things designed and your group posts.  Or you may need a new rebranding of your team's image, while others do not.  We go through all of that with our first discussion.

If you see a package that interests you, but not the price, give me a call to discuss your needs & wants.  Even schools that are economically disadvantaged (we take a few per year under our wing); I do customize packages for multiple teams & super small teams.  We are here to help!

Coach and Booster Info
With Elevated Sport Media Production, we like to keep things simple and easy; with lots of versatility. But we are not like everyone else, Sarah has over 20 years of experience in photography and even more behind a computer.

What May Be Going Through Your Head...

~Need lots of photos (and the athletes in a variety of looks), but I do not want to be overwhelmed with them and have to do the design,

~Need to be able to ask a designer to make something (eye catching for your teams social and send out to parents), because I do not have the time or want to do them,

~Need to NOT look like every other team in your sport (wow, up the nose shots are what everyone is doing), I want my traditional poses and professional (if the athletes have fun, it is a bonus),

~Need to not have muddy & blurry photos,

~Need to have someone you can reach out to and plan with for your season (we need people cheering on these athletes, but no one is reading what I send out),

But it's hard to do that with just anyone.  Yet, not with Spoil U Photography ESMP!  I get your schedule for the season; we map out when they need to get posted and re-posted for engagement on socials. We discuss when is the best time to get your photo shoot done, typically every sport needs 1 retake day for new athletes. I plan out (because it depends on the sport which poses are best) the posing list for each athlete. They each get several, I like variety and every sport has different needs and wants. If you haven't noticed I like crisp photos, I do not do muddy looking photos. If you have something you need designed, give me a couple days warning, but it never hurts to ask me when you are in a pinch.

What to do with banners after, recycle! Examples: weed deterrent for your garden, giving them as gifts at the end of the season to athletes and their parents, creating a wall of fame, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Photo Shoot

Picture Day...Photo Shoot Day...Media Day...  It is the same and isn't at the same time.

Picture Day is traditionally meant come in and set up; and 1 pose per athlete and coach/staff. Images obtained during the session are used to composite a team photo. Coach is given information to either pass out or have the athletes go online to place orders BEFORE or AT Picture Day (orders received after picture day will not be at the picture day discounted bundle pricing and require shipping fee).

Photo Shoot Day means come in and set up, have our area set up for multiple poses with each athlete (avg is 7 poses per athlete), each athlete will take approximately 2-3 minutes each (if they are in a good natured and cooperative mood, which hopefully they are because your booster club has snacks set up for them while they are getting ready (no colored items though), and at the end the Coach has their star athlete's/seniors/most hard working athlete's stay for additional poses and groups shots after everyone else has gone for about 30 minutes. In that last bit is kind of like a Media Day. Images obtained during the session are used to composite a team photo.  Coach is given information to either pass out or have the athletes go online to place orders BEFORE and AT the Photo Shoot Day (orders received after picture day will not be at the picture day discounted bundle pricing and require shipping fee).  Photo Shoot Days are the most requested since the Coach and athlete's will only be busy for a couple hours (on avg).

Media Day is all about the athlete's showing up and out during their session.  Which provides some fun images for social media usage and great memories down the road. But we come in and set up, have 2 stations (occasionally 3), station 1 is their multiple poses, station 2 is where they can show out by themselves or with a friend or more (but the friends have to be done in station 1 first before heading over to station 2), and Coach is given information to either pass out or have the athletes go online to place orders BEFORE or AT media Day (orders received after picture day will not be at the picture day discounted bundle pricing and require shipping fee).  Images obtained during the session are used to composite a team photo.

Prints & Products, since sports are volume work, we get volume discounts with our print vendor.  So, we like to pass that on by having orders done before hand. We have professional prints in traditional sizes, big heads (different sizes available, and best if purchased as a bunch than individually), water bottles (plastic and metal), hinged print of the athlete and his team to the side, wall clings, we have popouts that are great for baseball (helps with the sun!), key chains, bag tags (plastic and metal), and lots more.  Which means some items can be turned into a fundraiser (bag tags, big heads, popouts, etc).

Yard Signs

How fun is it to say your team has a custom shaped and custom designed yard sign for your athletes' families?  How great is it to turn that into a fundraiser for your team too?  You can with us.

Vinyl Banners

Most popular size is the 24"x36"; although we can do just about any size, just ask.

This is one of the designs we used for a school this season, if you are a member of the Season Pass Program a designed 2'x3' banner is $30 ($25 if you have the design); nonmember it is $45 if we design, and $40 if you already have a high resolution design (I can send you the specs I need for printing).  And yes, I have tons of designs already and it constantly grows.

Posters

Want to recognize athletes who go above and beyond, and then some more?!?  Our 16"x20" posters have a stiff back so they stand up on their own for all to see and the print not get damaged as easily. But don't worry I have many sizes for posters, and even traditional posters for printing out your seasons schedule and handing out to sponsors (YES, businesses still hang them up and display them proudly. And even have them hang way after season (for years lol)).

These are great for when an athlete does 100 wins, 1000 points, etc.  The possibilities are endless

Designing Spirit Wear / Merchandise BRANDING

We have contracts with brands to fill everyone's needs and wants to make their brand stand out (and adding NEW Brands when we need to as well). One of our most popular is Carhartt and Gildan Soft Tees.  But that is just a couple!  What builds more money for your booster club is being able to save, and with our bulk buying it helps.

We can do sport specific or even the school's brand so they can be worn by everyone whenever to support the school as a whole.

Random Requests

Things pop up. But most of the time with sports you have a schedule and things outlined for the entire season. And when we sit down with your schedule, we talk about things you may need a flyer designed for (outside of a Game Day or Tournament Day flyer) social media and to send out to parents as reminders.

Not to mention your sports banquet for the season, you need custom tickets!

And what about your end of year slideshow?  We have a folder set for your sport for the season that others can upload on, and then we make a slideshow for displaying on banquet night.  Plus, we do some random little spotlight reels for socials too.

We help with that too!  Here are some random things we have designed over the last few years.

Safety
We are HUGE on the safety of children and even ourselves (Sarah sometimes needs a bubble). But back on topic, we do get volunteer approvals for the schools we go to, and even at some schools we are already approved vendors for district(s). We will NOT have anyone on staff that is a danger or harmful towards children. We have a RN that comes to shoots often (he has lots of ER experience, OR experience, etc), our own grown and younger children, occasionally a former special ed CNA, and we have a grandmother who comes to some shoots to help with paperwork. We have always been about family, and that means protecting and standing up for them. Our website has encryptions that keep the unwanted out, and only emails going to their intended have accessibility to images. And all images we use for advertisements are ones we love from over the years and have permissions to use.
